1. Use of the Service

Shukudai provides an AI-powered homework platform for Japanese language learning. Our Service includes:

• Homework creation and assignment
• Student homework completion
• Automated grading and feedback
• Progress tracking for students and teachers
• User account management

2. Account Terms

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Shukudai cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

You are responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account. You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not violate any laws in your jurisdiction.

3. Payment Terms

Some aspects of the Service require payment of fees. You agree to pay all fees associated with the Service.

For any subscription-based services, you will be billed in advance on a recurring basis. Billing cycles are set on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the subscription plan you select.

You are responsible for all taxes associated with your use of the Service.

4. Early Access

For teachers: You grant us the right to distribute your created content to your assigned students.

For students: You grant your assigned teachers access to your homework submissions and progress data.

6. AI-Generated Content

Our Service uses AI to generate educational content. This content is provided "as is" without guarantees of accuracy or suitability. Teachers should review AI-generated content before distributing it to students.

We retain ownership of the AI systems and algorithms used by the Service, including any improvements derived from user interactions.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon intellectual property rights
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Distribute malware or harmful code
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Access the Service through automated means without our permission
• Use the Service for any purpose other than language education

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
